Competing with Louisville is the college town of Lexington. You must pick a side andbe prepared to defend it. Yes, even if you never attended eitherschool!
Lexington is a college town, but the economy is primarily basedon the tobacco industry. Fields. Raising horses is also strongbusiness on the surrounding rolling fields. For architecture,you'll find collections of antebellum homes in the town as wellas surrounding hills for hiking and such. Downtown is no greatshakes, but Lexington gets a thumbs up overall.
